The 20th Annual Grassy Sound Flounder Tournament

In a day and age where it seems as though nothing lasts, it’s nice to be a part of something that has been going on for twenty years now. Haven Marina Resorts is thrilled to announce the 20th Annual Grassy Sound Flounder Tournament will take place on June 20, 2026. You can find everything you need on our Tournament page, including Rules, Regs, and Registration.

We’re excited about this year’s tournament and believe it could be our best turnout ever, so here’s keeping our fingers crossed for good weather. It’s going to be a regular hootenanny, with competitive fishing, cold drinks, great food, killer prizes, funky jams, and the ultimate in bragging rights. At the bare minimum, you’re going to want this year’s shirt.

Grassy Sound Opening Day

It’s Opening Day Weekend here at Grassy Sound, a Haven Marina Resort, and we are pleased to announce that the Ship’s Store and Fuel Dock are both now open Saturday-Sunday, 8am-5pm. We have more in store for our guests and slipholders this season, with lots of new merchandise coming to the Ship’s Store, as well as a third Cottage for lodging. There is also a beautiful, new Transient Lounge, complete with a shower, available to all slipholders 24/7.

We have a saying at Haven Marina Resorts, a little mantra of sorts, that helps to keep us in check and remind us of what’s important. The days are longer, the air is warming, and life has a fresh smell to it that makes you feel alive. Last night, we offered slipholders, vendors, and a few friends a sneak preview of the newly renovated Ship’s Store at Bidwell Creek, a Haven Marina Resort.
