Bidwell Creek Reopens

The Ship’s Store at Bidwell Creek has finally reopened after significant redesign and restoration

Last night, we offered slipholders, vendors, and a few friends a sneak preview of the newly renovated Ship’s Store at Bidwell Creek, a Haven Marina Resort. There was plenty of great food, courtesy of Green Room Catering, and many enjoyed a glass of wine or beer with an amazing view of the marina and the marsh beyond.

This was everyone’s first glimpse of the new Ship’s Store, and a preview of things to come. There are lots of brand new, original graphic tees along with other branded merchandise, gifts, bags, flags, mugs, and assorted sundries. Of course there is plenty of tackle and marine gear, plus frozen bait with more to come, as well as snacks and drinks.

We had a good crowd and everyone seemed pleased with the progress. It was night to see old faces and get introduced to new ones. We thank all who came out and look forward to seeing those who couldn’t make it, soon enough.

Be sure to stop and see what all we have in store. New merch coming in, including branded bags, camp mugs, and Richardson hats.

Grassy Sound Opening Day

It’s Opening Day Weekend here at Grassy Sound, a Haven Marina Resort, and we are pleased to announce that the Ship’s Store and Fuel Dock are both now open Saturday-Sunday, 8am-5pm. We have more in store for our guests and slipholders this season, with lots of new merchandise coming to the Ship’s Store, as well as a third Cottage for lodging. There is also a beautiful, new Transient Lounge, complete with a shower, available to all slipholders 24/7.

Soak Up The Sun

The days are longer, the air is warming, and life has a fresh smell to it that makes you feel alive. We’re on the cusp of summer and everything on the marsh is coming to life after a particular long and grueling winter. Here at the marina, it’s been a busy off season with lots to be thankful for despite lots obstacles. That’s how it goes when you’re dealing with anything as unpredictable as nature. You do the best with the cards you’ve been dealt and thank your lucky stars for another chance to delight in a wondrous world.
